A scientist represents what they see with precision; an artist interpretes that view with a creative lens that leaves room for variation.

I am not a trained artist, but rather an environmental scientist and educator that likes to view the world with multiple perspectives. I dabbled in the arts as a young person through my college years, but only as a passing hobby. While we were all house-bound during Covid, I picked up the brush and bought some decent watercolor paper and decided to give it a go. I live in an historic town with so many scenes that would make interesting paintings - just learning to explore more with the help of talented artistic friends. This is a journey that will carry me far and I am pleased to share some of my works with you here.
